About 野花社区's Health & Wellness Center

The 野花社区 Health & Wellness Center (H&WC) is an outpatient facility providing confidential health care services for our students. The University Physician is available part-time during the Fall and Spring Semesters. A monthly physician鈥檚 schedule is available at the H&WC.

Mission

Our mission is to promote learning and student accomplishment by enhancing the student's health and well-being. We support and foster holistic health and wellness for NJUC students and throughout the university's diverse community. We develop and support activities that link health and wellness to our student's academic and personal success, using current health and human development knowledge to deliver cost-free, comprehensive, competent, high-quality primary clinical care and health promotion and prevention awareness services.

Services

  • First aid and minor urgent care
  • Short-term medical treatment
  • Over-the-counter medications for common conditions
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Blood pressure screening
  • Health information and pamphlets
  • Referrals to off-campus clinics, specialists, testing facilities, and pharmacies
    Bills for outside lab tests, x-rays, and prescriptions are the sole responsibility of the patient.
