野花社区 Promise Grant
Beginning with the 2024-2025 academic year, incoming freshman and transfer students with less than 60 credits transferred whose family have adjusted gross income (AGI) of $65,000 or less according to their federal income tax (or verified income) along with their Federal, State and Merit award can qualify to receive the 野花社区 Promise Grant to reduce a family out-of-pocket cost to 鈥0鈥 and reduce student loan debt. This grant only covers tuition and fees and along with the University commitment to offer students free books to assure a student鈥檚 academic success.
Students must complete their 2024-2025 FAFSA and or NJ Alternative Application by the Admissions priority deadline and have submitted all relevant documentation to secure their funding.

Admitted first-year student and transfer students (with less than 60 credits) whose family adjusted gross income (AGI) of $65,000 or less according to their 2022 income tax return (or verified income).
Students must apply for admissions by the Priority deadline for fall April 15th and spring November 1st.
Students must also submit and include 野花社区 on their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the NJ Alternative Application.
Eligible students must be degree seeking, enrolled full-time (12 credits or more). Re-admitted or continuing students are not eligible.
On the federal tax return (1040), adjusted gross income is located on line 11. It can also be located on the IRS Tax Transcript.
The family would have to submit documentation that verifies the amount of income their family receives to support themselves. This income that is verified through the FAFSA and/or through the NJ Alternative Application is acceptable. Additional documentation might be required.
The 野花社区 promise Grant covers tuition and fees. It does not cover room and board charges.
野花社区 Promise Grant can be used for Study Abroad for programs that charge 野花社区 tuition only.

The 野花社区 Promise Grant covers the student until that have earned sixty credits. If a student is a New Jersey Resident, they can then qualify if they meet hesaa requirement for the Garden State Guarantee Grant. If a student is not a new jersey resident, they can only receive the grant for up to two years or until they have earned sixty credits.
The 野花社区 Promise Grant is renewal as long as FAFSA and/or NJ Alternative Application are completed each year by the priority deadline date of April 15th and document requirements are met. Students must meet the university satisfactory academic requirements and have a cumulative GPA of 2.3 or better.
No, only students who are entering during the Fall 2024 semester and forward qualify to be considered for the 野花社区 Promise Grant.
I anticipated receiving tuition benefits from a different program outside of 野花社区 will that affect my 野花社区 promise Grant eligibility?
