JERSEY CITY, N.J. | On May 1, the (Ò°»¨ÉçÇø) Political Science department honored four students who have earned induction into Ò°»¨ÉçÇø's Eta Alpha chapter of, during a ceremony on campus. It was the 50th Anniversary induction for Ò°»¨ÉçÇø’s chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha.
The chapter was established in 1974, and the 2024 honorees demonstrated exceptional work in the classroom and a deep dedication to the discipline of Political Science. Fran Moran, the chair of the Political Science Department and Ò°»¨ÉçÇø's University Senate president, presided over the ceremony. All department faculty also participated, including Professors Ning Liao, Joseph Moskowitz and Louise Stanton.
The students inducted into the Ò°»¨ÉçÇø Pi Sigma Alpha Class of 2024 were graduating seniors Leandra Alexander, Stella Bajer-Gil, and Amy Ghaly, and junior Jason Landeras.
As part of the 50th anniversary celebration, previous inductees returned to the university, including Eldonie Mason (2001), Meena Singh (2003), Nadia Medina (2019) and Adrian Ghainda (2020).
