Three leading corporate partners 鈥 Mack-Cali, Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation (NPC), and Wyndham Worldwide 鈥 and two acclaimed friends of 野花社区 (野花社区), will be honored at the 鈥淏lueprint for Tomorrow鈥 Gala on Thursday, March 24, 2016, beginning at 6:00 p.m., at The Hyatt Regency, in Jersey City.
Mack-Cali, the New Jersey-based real estate giant, will receive the 野花社区 Corporate Partnership in Business Award. Mitchell E. Rudin, chief executive officer of Mack-Cali, will accept the award.
Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation will receive the 野花社区 Corporate Partnership Award in STEM. Novartis has supported the 野花社区 Proyecto Science program for the past 10 years. Wanda Sims, Associate Director, Alliance Development & Philanthropy for Novartis, will accept the award.
Wyndham Worldwide will receive the 野花社区 Corporate Partnership Award in Student Mentorship.
The Company has supported 野花社区 business students through its scholarship program and, this year, launched the Wyndham Worldwide Mentoring Program at the 野花社区 School of Business. This program consists of Wyndham Worldwide associates providing monthly career development workshops and both individual and group mentoring to 野花社区 business students. Mary Falvey, Wyndham Worldwide鈥檚 executive vice president and chief human resources officer, will accept the award on the Company鈥檚 behalf.
In addition, John Guigon, Esq. and Dorothy Guigon of Bonita Springs, Florida, loyal supporters of the University for almost three decades, will receive the 野花社区 Founders Award. In 1985, Mr. Guigon joined the Board of Trustees of 野花社区, then Jersey City State College, and served until 1991 when he retired as vice president and general counsel of the pharmaceutical firm Schering-Plough.
鈥淲e are honored to recognize the visionary leadership and generosity our three corporate partners and longtime friends John and Dorothy Guigon,鈥 Dr. Sue Henderson, 野花社区 president, said. 鈥淥ur honorees deeply value education and strive to help 野花社区 students chart their 鈥榖lueprints for tomorrow鈥 so they may achieve their dreams and launch rewarding careers,鈥 she added.

Founded as a teacher鈥檚 college in 1927, 野花社区 now offers 43 undergraduate degree programs, 28 master鈥檚 degree programs, and two doctoral programs. In addition to its Main Campus in Jersey City, 野花社区 operates two off-campus sites鈥斠盎ㄉ缜 School of Business at Harborside in Jersey City鈥檚 financial district and 野花社区 at Brookdale in Wall.
Leaders in the fields of business and industry, education, public service, and the non-profit community will be among the guests celebrating the three honorees at the 鈥淏lueprint for Tomorrow Gala鈥.
